The campsite is an ideal starting point for exploring the Pays des Bastides, the castles, caves and vineyards of the Périgord region, as well as iconic towns like Sarlat. A Family Story
For several years, our family team has been running Camping de la Colombière*** with passion, authenticity, and a spirit of sharing. Each season, François and his son Robin create a welcoming place where conviviality, simplicity, and a family atmosphere prevail. Here, every stay is a human experience, punctuated by encounters, activities, and shared moments.
François welcomes you from the morning and remains available throughout the day at the bar, always ready to offer advice and share his good cheer—not to mention his famous homemade crêpes. Robin manages arrivals, activities, and guides you to the most beautiful hiking and cycling trails around the campsite.
Every evening, Laurence delights holidaymakers with delicious home-cooked meals, supported by a team attentive to service and the cleanliness of the accommodations and common areas. And to the enjoyment of young and old alike, Socrates, the campsite mascot, adds a touch of whimsy to the atmosphere.
The entire team is doing everything possible to make your stay in Dordogne a moment of relaxation, discovery and unforgettable memories.

Bar – Snack – Restaurant at Camping de la Colombière***
In July and August, the bar/snack bar at Camping de la Colombière*** and its sunny terrace welcome you throughout the day to share delicious and friendly moments in Dordogne.
In the morning, enjoy a full breakfast with hot drinks, fruit juices and pastries, ideal for starting the day off right.
At lunchtime, discover a varied menu: salads, pizzas, steak-frites, sandwiches, and dishes to take away or enjoy on-site. For your excursions, it is also possible to order a picnic.
In the afternoon, treat yourself to a sweet break with our homemade crepes, a specialty of François, and our refreshing ice creams, perfect after an activity or a moment of relaxation.
At the end of the day, enjoy an aperitif with local beers, regional wines and platters of local cheeses and charcuterie, in a warm atmosphere.
Each evening, a unique meal, available to eat in or take away, showcases local produce and home cooking, for a convivial dinner under the Périgord sky.

Heated swimming pool and water games for the whole family
Aquatic Area
Freely accessible from the beginning of June to the end of September, from 10am to 8pm, the aquatic area of Camping de la Colombière*** has been entirely designed to offer moments of relaxation, pleasure and conviviality in complete serenity.
The new water games, which replace the old paddling pool, now offer a fun and safe space for children, with an expanded pool deck promoting comfort and circulation.
The main 100 m² swimming pool, completely renovated, has a depth of 1.30 m, ideal for swimming, cooling off, or relaxing. The pool is heated to a minimum of 27°C from the end of June to the beginning of September, guaranteeing optimal comfort throughout the season.
The relaxation area has also been redesigned with a terrace furnished with sun loungers and parasols, perfect for enjoying the Périgord sunshine. For safety reasons, as the pool is unsupervised, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Located in the immediate vicinity, the snack bar allows you to alternate between swimming and gourmet breaks with ease.
